Prolio is a digital real estate portfolio management platform built for Nigerian property investors: both domestic and diaspora. The client identified a critical, widely felt pain point: investors across Nigeria had no centralized system for managing their properties, relying instead on physical files, WhatsApp chats, and scattered email folders to track payments, documents, and valuations.

The goal was to build a secure, organized, always-accessible platform where investors could manage their entire portfolio in one place. The product ships with a freemium model across three tiers: Free, Premium, and Enterprise, serving everyone from first-time investors on payment plans to cooperative societies managing collective holdings.

Key challenges included designing status workflows specific to Nigerian real estate realities (off-plan purchases, Deeds of Assignment, C of O processing), building a comprehensive document vault with Cloudinary integration, and delivering satellite property monitoring via Sentinel-2. A scan-to-PDF feature was added to handle the reality that many investors still hold physical documents. The platform was built on PHP 8.x, MySQL, and Bootstrap 5, with careful attention to mobile usability for diaspora users managing properties remotely.
